Yum! Brussel sprouts are on the menu for lunch today. As a young child they were my favorite vegetable. They still are today. I love when she makes them. They are such a cute little veggie too! I personally recommend cooking them like this: Cut them in half. Heat up a cast iron and add some coconut oil. Cook the brussel sprouts and add a little water to speed it up. Sprinkle with lots of garlic powder, some salt and pepper. Cook until soft and a little crunchy. Eat it all up. :) - Kate (infant teacher) By the way...today we discovered that the correct spelling is Brussels sprout. Cool right?

I am realizing that resolutions have this very predictable way of drifting off silently into the night - never to be seen again. I have seen this happen year after year on many occasions. So, this year I am going to do it differently. And I invite you to join me as well.
Instead of resolutions, I will make resolves. Funny way to say it right:-). So here is my first resolve of the year that I am sharing with you... I resolve to stop at fresh blooming flowers and enjoy their beauty at least twice a week. This may happen while on a walk with the little ones or while I am at the local grocery store. But I will take the time to do this with intentions of adoration. Do you have a resolve that you would like to share? |
