We took a Portland break to get some biscotti and warm milk from the coffee shop up the street.
Fun way to spend a small piece of Christmas Eve. Things can get so hectic on this day.
I hope you take time to care for yourself as well.

I'm grateful for the wonderful staff at Flouriche! Those present and those past. Thank you for the laughter, amazing memories, and the investment of your life into the futures of our precious little ones as well as in our community. Here are a few pics from our holiday party. As we grow in our journey may we look with gratitude on our time together. Lessons learned. Opportunities sought. And always improving in our lives. May joy and blessings surround our endeavors; and may the mountains that we climb be met with bravery and courage. My love and thanks to you! 💛💛💛 Had to share this picture. There's nothing like catching that look of thoughtfulness and wonder, along with the subtle glimpse of contentment that accompanies those moments. "May we all marinate in those times as they come to us, for therein lies inspiration and genius." ~anon Light has been an interest to all of us at one time or another... Fascination with the sun, light switches, Christmas decorations, fireworks, night lights, and the list goes on and on. We have been using the early sunsets as an opportunity to use the flashlights. It has been fun. What light ideas have inspired you? It's that time of year again. Hard to imagine enjoying wassail in the summer! We made this yesterday and drank it in front of our fireplace with blankets and made short mention of things that made us happy for the day. This morning, parents made comments about how well the children slept last night. I wondered if the warm evening drink had anything to do with it. I remember warm milk or tea being used around bedtime as a child. I wonder if there's any science about that. Well, hope you are having a great day and that you take time to enjoy something warm today. ~ |
