It's time to do an overhaul. We are cleaning every inch of every inch. Including cleaning the rugs.
What fun.

There are many things that I am grateful for. What makes us able to appreciate or vice versa? IDK. One thing I know - there is much to say about what I am personally thankful for. Yet, I cannot emphasize enough the wonderful people that I have met on my life journey. Thank you for being the unique person that you are! ;-).
I don't think it's the uniqueness of each character. Neither is it the sounds of those familiar 26. Could it be the endless potential to make words...
Although I may be influenced by all of the above factors... I think the biggest factor was our relationship. Yes, I actually remember meeting these letters in my early childhood days! I can't tell you about the first time that we met, because I'm not sure, but I can tell you that many of my early memories are of smiles, joy, interest, touching, making, coloring, painting, singing, and embracing my ABC's. Of course we are still good friends. That will never change. What are your favorite ABC memories? Brussel sprouts and Satsumas in celebration of birthdays, wellness, and sunshine!
How did you celebrate today? Water is so necessary for life. Today this little one came over and said, "Water please." As I watched her drink her filtered water. I began to think about water. Some of you may know about my fascination with water. We all know that drinking water is essential. But did you know that of all the water on the planet (326 million cubic miles), we can only drink 3 tenths of a percent of it??? This is fascinating to me. Our planet has interesting systems that seem to be so sustainable at times. . Just makes me thirsty! And with that I leave you with a little water play before I take a drink.
I think we're around 5 inches tall!
So, I have been watering them because I don't want the clay to dry out. We put them outside yesterday over night. Brrrr.... I can't believe this is a winter crop that grows in the snow! We also began our garden box with the wheat berries today stay tuned for updates. Let us know if you decide to try this method. That's right. 8 yards of tree goodness. Ready to make our garden for next year amazing and nutrient rich!
It's like our own small ecosystem! It's been 3 days. The sprouts have been busy doing their sprouts thing. I think the sprouting action comes from the seed DNA??? Not sure. Something to look into. ;-). I'm sure they will be bigger tomorrow.
Let's see if this works...
Wheat berries planted in clay. I have heard that wheat grass is a winter crop and grows much better as a crop in the cold and even in the snow. I guess we shall see! What are your favorite winter crops? |
